Is it summer yet? The weather is warming up, business is gradually opening, and I’m hearing whispers of backyard get-togethers to make up for lost time. As you guys start working on those party playlists, you’re gonna wanna put this track way up top: “Summertime” by up-and-comer artist Clemont.
My approach to producing this track was quite a unique experience due to the quarantine. As opposed to having other people to bounce ideas off of--it was just me and my equipment working remotely. I’m sure many of you can relate to that. I think the sense of isolation and longing for social contact really inspired this track.
Since its release a week ago this track has quickly gained traction. Big shout out to a few influencers out there who used the chorus on TikTok--including Rose from the popular 90 Day Fiance spinoff series Before the 90 Days. Thanks to our amazing fans we’ve been able to reach a combined 1.2 million views for the song in less than a week. Every time you share, listen, watch, or stream, that helps us turn on a variety of new listeners who seek us out on all the platforms out there. As of now we’re about to hit 100,000 unique monthly listeners on Spotify!
